First month of 2016 is in the books (literally for those of you who keep a journal or calendar). The first week of a new month is the perfect time to do some reevaluation!
How many of you made some New Year’s resolutions that have already failed? You are not alone. Every year, people all over the world vow to make changes in the new year, and then life happens and it is the same old routine. None of their ambitions are ever realized or accomplished, or they work hard for the first few weeks and then the motivation runs out.
If you want to stay motivated to accomplish your goals you need to keep those goals out there in front of you where you see them on a daily basis! What better way to remind yourself of your goals than to review them every month? And don’t be afraid to make changes. Scratch out any goals that are no longer relevant or no longer excite you. Add any new goals you might have. Read over any current goals and get excited about them.
Decide what worked for you last month to keep you motivated and what didn’t work. Make a plan for the new month that will keep you motivated. And plan to do the whole process again next month! And the month after that!
If you keep your goals in front of you and take the time every month to reevaluate them, you will find yourself accomplishing more of your goals that you ever thought possible.
Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it.
