We don’t eat commercial cereal, and we try to stay away from processed foods. However, kids love cereal for breakfast, and it is a quick and easy way to start the day. So, I have started making home made granola cereal. It is a delicious alternative to store bought cereal, and it is a wonderful topping on a fruit parfait (which my kids enjoy having for supper quite often).

For the past 2 months I have had a habit tracker in my journal where I mark off things that I do or want to do on a regular basis, such as exercise, take my vitamins, read my Bible, etc. Through setting up these trackers I have discovered that the act of coloring in the boxes each day makes me want to do it again the following day.

Becoming a Better Me: Learning to Love

I have dedicated this year to the start of making myself better. I don’t enjoy reading nonfiction books, but I know how much beneficial wisdom is in many of them. My desire to grow has outweighed my dislike of nonfiction, and I have the first book done…finally!

American Boy Doll Clothes

Last month I turned an 18″ girl doll into an 18″ BOY doll. My son was so very happy to have a “mini-me”. You can read the blog here. Since creating the boy doll I needed to make some clothes for JoJo.
