Making Goat Milk Farmer’s Cheese

During the milking season, we quite often have an abundance of goat milk. We do drink the milk, but we also make a lot of cheese with it. I usually save up the milk and then spend a day making several batches of cheese which are frozen for later.

2 Ingredient Homemade Laundry Detergent (or 3 if you really want)

I was given a recipe for home made laundry detergent several years ago that had both a powdered version and a liquid version. The liquid version took longer to make and more room to store, so in favor of speed and ease, I chose the powdered version.

Making & Canning Tomato Juice

I plant a lot of tomatoes in my garden every year. And I mean a LOT of tomatoes. My husband and I load up several 5 gallon pails for days. Sometimes I feel like I am drowning in tomatoes, and by the end of the canning season I don’t want to see another tomato for weeks!
